OUR HISTORY

Sirens of Gotham has accomplished much since its establishment in November 2011, but has grown exponentially since February 2013, when Sirens of Gotham became a chartered chapter of Sweet Adelines International (SAI). Within SAI Region 15, the Sirens have claimed the title of Division A (Small Chorus) Champions three times, and most recently won 3rd place overall and a 2nd Place Division AA (Midsize Chorus) finish at the 2019 Regional Convention, where they also won Most Improved Chorus (31 point increase) for a second time! In October 2018, they made their international competition debut at the SAI Harmony Classic barbershop chorus competition in St. Louis, MO, where they won 1st place Division A and 1st place overall! In addition to their extensive barbershop experience, they have appeared on multiple televised broadcasts, starred in a television show, and performed in a variety of world-renowned venues. They took home 3rd place in the 2015 New York Harmony Sweepstakes and continue to pursue other local singing competitions and performance opportunities.

In February of 2020 Sirens of Gotham announced their intention to pursue a dual charter with both Sweet Adelines International and the Barbershop Harmony Society.
